I had a little one today who insisted that the stethoscope was a magic wand. As I listened to her heart, she started casting spells to make her boo-boos disappear. It made me laugh, but it reminded me how much these kids see us as superheroes. Anyone else have funny moments that turned into teachable lessons?
, I can totally relate — kids really see us as their heroes, and it’s hilarious how they interpret things. Just last week, a child asked if I could use my penlight to see into the future.
It’s true! Kids really do think we have superpowers… I had a little boy ask if my bandage could also make him fly — if only it worked that way! Have you found any magical props that help kids take their meds easier, @OriginalPoster?
