The joys of charting after a code

Is there anything more exhilarating than the adrenaline of a code blue followed by the slow torture of charting it all? I swear, after a couple of hours of rapid response, my fingers barely remember how to type anything coherent. Last shift, I spent more time on the notes than I did saving lives — maybe I should just start charting my caffeine intake instead.

I find charting right after a code can feel like a second job. I usually jot down some quick notes during the chaos; it saves my sanity later! Anyone else try that?
