I do a 60–90 second pre-brief with my MA where they flag only ASQ-3 gray/black items, then I walk in with one play routine (“pause and wait” at snack, often pulled from Vroom: https://www.vroom.org/) and a single teach-back — “show me how you’d try that tonight.” It reliably keeps coaching to about 2 minutes, but it hinges on the ASQ being in the chart before vitals.
