CE ideas for noninvasive pain care

Looking for CE that’s practical and patient-centered on noninvasive pain strategies — pain neuroscience education, CBT for pain, pacing plans, sleep interventions, and PT collaboration I can use in clinic on Monday. I need 8 hours before March 31 for renewal in Michigan; what courses or conferences have helped you coach patients through flares and lower reliance on meds?

I got a lot of mileage from Evidence In Motion’s Pain Neuroscience Education plus UW TelePain (ECHO), then use a 15-minute “flare plan” template in clinic — pacing, sleep cueing, and a quick CBT thought record. Small caveat: some ECHO hours aren’t ANCC/AANP-tagged, so for Michigan make sure the certificate lists ANCC; AANP CE Center can round out the 8 hours. Teaching “hurt doesn’t equal harm” up front is like handing them an owner’s manual for cranky nerves.

Quick win: the PCSS non‑opioid pain modules + a short CBT‑I on‑demand course gave me Monday‑ready tools; https://pcssnow.org/education-training/… In visits I use a 2‑minute ‘pain reframe’ script, a time‑based pacing plan (think interval training for the nervous system), and a 3‑step sleep wind‑down handout. Make sure the credits count for Michigan before March 31 — want my one‑page pacing template?
